Somehow Joel, Kent & Zack were hired as temps at a parole board hearing. However, this is a symbolic cinematic prison for filmmakers who have been put in director’s jail for one reason or another. Therefore, on this episode of Baconsale, we’ll be examining the filmography of once-popular directors like Tom Hooper, Cameron Crowe, Patty Jenkins, Joss Whedon, J.J. Abrams, Nancy Meyers, and Terry Gilliam. After reviewing their cases, we’ll decide if they deserve to stay in director’s jail, should be allowed out on probation, or should be released to make movies freely again.
