BaconBit: Fantastic Beasts Review

Kent and Joel are ready to broom dive back into the world of Harry Potter and talk about J.K. Rowling’s newest movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Is this the beginning of a well-made spin-off of the original stories we know and love that adds to the mythology? Or is this a watered-down, cash-grabbing sequel starring Captain Fish Lips and CGI monstrosities? Get out your wands, press play and find out.

As always, the first 9 minutes of the show are spoiler-free. We’ll warn you before we start talking about fantastic plot points and where to find them.

  1. Good bacon bit. I decided that since the first Potter movies were spoiled by the books I’d be fine with thus getting spoiled too. Joel you’re always so negative, just cuz it’s mainstream you hate it. Kent, I totally get ur, sometimes you just want predictable movies for the masses. I’ll probably wait you watch this on DVD

    1. Man did I have a lot of typos on this comment. I’m just glad none of the typos were embarrassing. Don’t you hate it when you type a seemingly innocent word and your phone changes it to something not quite so innocent?
