  1. I was at the Motor-Vu in Ogden on a date to watch John Carter. I fell asleep within the first 20 minutes.. I couldn’t even stay awake to cuddle with my date that movie was sooooo boring and terrible. I’m with Joel, this thing deserves worse than a tier 3.

    1. I also rented it later to give it a second chance because my friends loved it. Stayed awake that time, waste of my time and money. World building is cool if you can do it right, this movie can’t. It’s like they tried to combine He-man and Dune or something. Stupid stupid stupid.

      1. Yeah I trusted my friends opinion. You can chalk it up to being really stupid. I should have trusted my gut and been ok with “watching” it once. Twenty minutes of it was more than enough. “BARSOON”.. *gag*

    1. Although I have to say, you totally butchered a couple of my pitches. But that might be because I explained it poorly in the first place. First, Golden Babies, is not a sequel to Muppet Babies, but a prequel to Golden Girls (in the style of muppet babies) where the Golden Girls are babies in a day care. Anyway, I’m honored to have my suggestions read out loud to the listeners of your podcast.

  3. Swiss Family Robinson – I liked the ostrich races. But it has been so long that I don’t remember much.
The Computer Who Wore Tennis Shoes – Never seen it.
    Treasure Island –
Lone Ranger – I stopped watching movies with Johnny Depp playing the same character. Put a lot of makeup on and act crazy and silly. Captain Jack Sparrow, Willy Wonka, Mad Hatter, and now Tonto.
Davy Crockett – I had a coonskin cap too! And the one souvenier I got from Disneyland was a davy crocket gun. But I can’t remember if I have ever actually seen the movie.
Watcher in the Woods – I’m Mormon but for some reason I have never seen Watcher in the Woods.
Cat from Outerspace – Sounds dumb.
Sky High – I did want to watch this, but never did. I’ll try and see it sometime.
John Carter – I actually really liked this. I disagree that it is a Tier 3. I thought it was a fun sci-fi flick. I might even give it a Tier 1.
Oz the Great and Powerful – When did that come out? I have no memory of any previews or anything about this movie.
Return to Oz – Oh my gosh that movie!!! I liked it. I wanted to be a wheeler and I liked the Gump. I think it is a Tier 1.
Something Wicked this way comes – Never heard of it. Neither the movie or the book. But since I am agreeing with Kent on these movies, I might have to watch this sometime.
The Muppets – I loved the reboot too! But haven’t seen the sequel or the tv show.
Darby O’Gill and the Little People – I’ll have to check this out.
Condor Man – Somehow in the last couple months I watched the car chase scene and it was horrible.
Absent Minded Professor – I don’t remember that movie, but as a kid I loved Flubber!
    Pollyanna
Enchanted – Great movie. Totally a tier 1. You don’t like Amy Adams? I like Amy Adams. How did Julie and Julia ruin Amy for you? I thought that was a clever movie too.
Newsies – I won tickets to see a sneak preview of the Newsies when it first came out. It is totally a tier 1. It is fun movie.
    Escape to Witch Mountain –
Saving Mr. Banks – Haven’t seen it.
Freaky Friday – I still think Jodie Foster might be a dude. But General Leia with Jodie Foster would have been much better.

    1. To be honest, Amy Adams’ character in Julie & Julia reminded me of someone I don’t like very much in real life. Now I have a hard time separating the two, and poor Amy Adams has to pay the consequences.
And yes, it’s time to watch Watcher in the Woods.

  4. “I was at Joseph’s house; he was there, and several men were sitting on the fence. Joseph came out and spoke to us all. Pretty soon a man came up and said that a poor brother who lived out some distance from town had had his house burned down the night before. Nearly all of the men said they felt sorry for the man. Joseph put his hand in his pocket, took out five dollars and said, ‘I feel sorry for this brother to the amount of five dollars; how much do you all feel sorry?’”

I share that story because I want you to meet Kate Beckinsale to the amount of 1 dollar. But gofundme won’t let me donate less than $5. Do you have an address where I might mail you a dollar? I guess I’ll pay for the stamp myself. Let me know
