I’m a huge fan of Moulin Rouge too, and had a similar experience to Joel. Someone told me not to watch it, but for a different reason, they thought it was too “dirty” and I wouldn’t enjoy it. I finally watched it (hesitantly) after others said it was good, and I loved it. I love the soundtrack.
I hope you don’t, I hope don’t mind if I put down in words, how wonderful life is, now that Baconsale is in the world.

Yeah, there’s only one part in the movie that I skip over each time (the misunderstanding part just before “Your Song”). Other than that, it’s not too bad.
